Jon Elkin has put together one of the most comprehensive and challenging goalie development camps in the world. It is ONLY available to goalies who have the potential to play at hockey’s highest levels.
Make a smart investment in your future; one that will yield immediate results for the upcoming season and continue to bear fruit for many years to come.
Not only has Jon had success in the NHL, but he has also helped many of his students get to the NHL themselves. His technical and tactical knowledge is world renown. At the elite level, the little things are big things. The details that Jon sees and the suggestions he gives will transform your game. Elkin also has a reputation for encouraging goalies to reach beyond what they think they are capable of.
MIKE SMITH
(EDMONTON OILERS, NHL)
“Jon’s drive and commitment have helped me get to where I am today and without him I wouldn’t be a NHL starter.”
DAILY PUCKHANDLING SESSIONS
Puckhandling is a huge part of the game. Jon created special puckhandling and mobility sessions for Mike Smith since Mike was a teenager helping him become the NHL’s best at moving the puck.
OFF-ICE TRAINING & NUTRITION
Rich Rotenberg (Toronto Maple Leafs Head of Sports Science) will be on hand to provide valuable information on strength & conditioning to maximize on-ice performance.
Margaret Hughes (Toronto Maple Leafs Dietitian) will coach each individual on how best to use nutritional tools to achieve ultimate energy, power, performance, recovery, sleep and health.
Core stability plays a critical role in superior movement and control. Sally Belanger, one of the preeminent athletic movement experts, will help to cement muscular firing patterns needed to support on ice mobility.
MATT MURRAY, MIKE SMITH or MACKENZIE BLACKWOOD
One or all (their summer training schedules have not been completed yet) will present to the group in an intimate classroom setting. Last season Smith and Murray lead some on-ice sessions and trained in the camp as well.
