Budaj!
In the NHL Wednesday night, Peter Budaj came in for relief at the start of the third period with the Montreal Canadiens down 4-2 against the Boston Bruins. It was a big game as both teams are vying for first place in their Division. Budaj made a number of very tough key stops as the Canadiens managed to scrape back and tie the game. Of the 15 shots he faced, only one found its way past him - a breakaway by Tyler Seguin, who has shot for Jon Elkin's Goalie Schools for the past six years. With the game going to a shootout, Budaj had to be perfect and he was. He stopped all 6 shootout attempts. Montreal remains tied with the Bruins for first place of the Northeast Division.
Peter has been a big contributor to the Canadiens' success this season sporting a terrific 5-1-1-1 record.
