Halvy Off To Good Start For The Hounds

Brandon Halverson, the Sault St. Marie Greyhounds 18 year old goaltender, has been giving his OHL team strong goaltending since taking over for Matt Murray who left the team to start his professional career with the Pittsburgh Penguins organization. "Halvy" showed wonderful improvement as a rookie over the course of last season and was rewarded by being chosen in the 2nd round by the New York Rangers in the June NHL draft. Brandon and his team are off to a 4-0 record. After posting his first shutout of the season last game, Halvy currently sits third in league GAA (2.25) and fourth in save percentage (.935).
