Murray Named to OHL Super Series

Matt Murray has been named to play in the OHL vs Russia series at the end of November. The two game series is considered a sort if tryout for the World Junior Tournament that happens each Christmas. It is the most prestigious tournament for 16-19 year olds in the world. To represent Canada in the competition is an enormous honour. The whole country virtually stands still when the games are being played. Last year's team featured past and present student, Jordan Bininngton as one of the two goalies. The other goalie was a long time student - Malcolm Subban. 

Murray presently leads all Canadian Hockey League goalies with a goals against average of 1.98 and a .934 save percentage. He is the only OHL on the roster of both games. To read more:
