Peters Does It Again

Justin Peters stopped 28 shots in a 3-2 shootout win Friday night versus the league leading Anaheim Ducks. He also got the monkey off his back by winning his first shootout. Staring down Teemu Selanne, Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf one on one is no easy feat, but Petey got it done allowing a lone goal by Perry to squeeze through the legs. The incredible thing is that Justin has been named the first star in the last four out of five games. During that span, he has a 4-0-1 record, a 1.16 GAA and a .958 SV%.

"The terms, "hard worker" and "great guy" are often thrown around too easily to describe players; this is not the case with Peters; he epitomizes those monikers like not too many others," says Elkin.
